Rudolph Goes Trick-or-Treating!

Imagine that!!! Emma wanted to be a reindeer this year...more specifically she wanted to be Rudolph! Needless to say, there weren't any other costumes out there like hers! She was a one and only! This was the first year she actually went trick-or-treating and she really had alot of fun. She got to meet lots of nice people and a couple of doggies (those were her favorite). We had a great time with some friends of ours, Mark, Laura Lynn, and Maggie who invited us to come along with them for a night filled with Halloween fun!

Rudolph and the cutest little duck I've ever seen!

Emma loved when she got to pet the dogs AND get candy!

Trying on Mark's Napolean Dynamite costume! Pretty sweet, huh?

Our Trip to the Beautiful Smokies!

This is becoming our annual family trip to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, TN. Our family went last summer, but after going during the fall this year, we'll pretty much be going there every year during the Fall! The weather and foliage were absolutely beautiful! It was so nice being with family and taking in all of God's beautiful creation. While we were there, we were able to see a black bear and a baby reindeer (as Emma calls it). Those were the two main things Emma wanted to see during our visit. Hope you enjoy all the pics!

Overlooking Gatlinburg

Emma with her Uncle Brad on the way back from Cherokee, NC. The mountains there were alot bigger and the leaves were georgous!

Mike had to leave early in our trip, so Brad was a HUGE help with Emma! With my pregnant belly, it was hard doing alot of lifting! I think her view of the mountains was alot better way up there!

Emma and Nanny cuddling up to stay warm!

Emma with her MawMaw and PawPaw Vines

Nearing the end of our trip, Emma was "camera-ed out"!

We missed you on the trip Dad!

See why they call 'em the Smokies?

The colors were so brilliant. I think we timed our trip perfectly!

Can't wait to go again next year!

Fun with Mimi and Papa!

This past weekend, Mike and I worked the Bama game with some friends of ours. So.... Mimi and Papa kept Emma for us and as you'll see they had lots of fun! Emma always enjoys going to Mimi and Papa's!

This gorilla pic was actually taken a few weeks back. It was on the side of the road and Emma just loved it. So what do grandparents do? They stop and take a picture with it! And Emma was so excited they did!

Emma and Papa at the Botanical Gardens Scarecrow Trail. I guess Papa got a little tired!

Looking at one of the scarecrows, thankfully not so scary!

Being silly!

By the waterfall at the butterfly house.

Emma's favorite pastime..........SWIMMING!

Emma's swimming all by herself now, without floaties!

She loves the pool, she was sad when Grandpa had to close it b/c of cooler temps.

Thanks Mimi and Papa for a wonderful and fun weekend!
