When I Go to Heaven

"When I go to Heaven, I'm going to take a toy so God can play with me."

Emma told me this on the way home from my parents house yesterday. It was quite an interesting trip home with two tired girls and a tired mommy. But this little statement brought a big smile to my face and joy to my heart. I thought I'd share it with all of you.

Her childlike faith is something that I want to always remember and treasure in my heart. B/c I know that God desires us all to have this type of faith.

THE ZOO!

Saturday, we took a trip to the Birmingham Zoo! Emma LOVES animals, that is her thing! She would play with one of her stuffed animals over a barbie any day! She's already saying she wants to be a vet when she grows up. So, when we took her to the zoo she was in heaven. She had so much fun! And what made it even more special was she got to enjoy it with her Aunt Amy who's visiting from Alaska and her cousins Chloe and Deuce.

Today we buried Blue......

He's been our pet fish for about 2 years. Emma was sad to bury him today, but she built him a special house and planted some flowers for him and even made up a song for him. Guess we'll probably be getting another fish sometime soon :)

A few weeks ago, we had quite the adventure of having some professional pics made of our family. Well, after a few temper tantrums from Emma and a pee and poop all over me from Lili (oh yes, when she was bare naked! Fun With My Girls!

It's been a great day today. We enjoyed just hanging around the house and playing with the baby. Emma really does love being a big sister. Today while Lili was on the changing table Emma came up and did her usual cute little sounds trying to get Lili to laugh well Emma was so excited b/c today Lili gave her the biggest smile. You could tell it really meant alot to her. I really am blessed to have my girls. Emma's got such a sweet spirit and she just loves on Lili so much.
