Baking With Emma
One of my favorite things to do with Emma is cooking! She's a great helper and really enjoys it! Yesterday, we made some banana nut bread. It was a fun AND delicious recipe to do together!
And Emma's favorite: Chopping the pecans! Here's a video of Emma's Banana Nut Bread!

Mr. Jasper
He is showing Emma how he makes arrowheads. He's holding a deer antler and pounding it into this rock. We all thought it was cool that an antler could actually break apart this rock! He even game us our own arrowheads, hand made by him!
Showing Emma his orange peppers, squash, and herb gardens!

What a nice visit today!Posted by Amy at 9/24/2008 1 comments

Treats and Milestones

Kicked back........and enjoying the stroll!
And guess what! Lili is sitting up on her own now! She's so cute, she'll just sit there and wobble back and forth, side to side while patting her little legs :)
What a growing little girl!Posted by Amy at 9/18/2008 3 comments

Our Night Out!
Mike's cousin Chris had an engagement party Friday night, so we packed the kids up and headed to Griffin, GA for the weekend! We had sooo much fun, it was great to see Chris and meet his fiance Jordan! And Emma loved seeing her Aunt Anne! Here are a few pics from the party!
And we are learning to clap and play with our hands!
Emma enjoying her engagement party cake.........she was confused, she kept saying we were going to a birthday party and wedding!
Her frothy mustache from my cappuccino! (Such a sweet smile)

"Moral Support"
Today, Lili had her 6 month check up, although she's actually 7 months :). And let me tell you, she is a growing girl! She is in the 90th percentile for weight (about 20lbs) and 97th percentile for height! I've got a big girl! Well, big sister wanted to come along today to help out with Lili, the doctor's office was running behind, so we were there about an hour before seeing the dr. Well, when immunization time came, I had TWO crying little girls! So much for the moral support! :) Just kidding! Emma was just feeling Lili's pain. She loves her soooo much!
