Treats and Milestones

We went to Bridgestreet the other night, Emma loves to ride the carousel there. It was a special treat for her.......and the treat for us? Well, the weather was wonderful! In the 60's! I'm loving this "fall type" weather!

Kicked back........and enjoying the stroll!

And guess what! Lili is sitting up on her own now! She's so cute, she'll just sit there and wobble back and forth, side to side while patting her little legs :)

What a growing little girl!

What If?

What if you could go back? Here is what my yearbook photo would look like............
1964

I think this is actually what I looked like in the 6th grade! Thanks to Rave hairspray, I had REALLY big teased out hair! Gotta love the early 90's!

Our Night Out!

Mike's cousin Chris had an engagement party Friday night, so we packed the kids up and headed to Griffin, GA for the weekend! We had sooo much fun, it was great to see Chris and meet his fiance Jordan! And Emma loved seeing her Aunt Anne! Here are a few pics from the party!

Can you tell my girl loves carrots and sweet potatoes? Yep, she's got a little orangish nose :)

And we are learning to clap and play with our hands!

Daddy and the drooling queen!

Emma enjoying her engagement party cake.........she was confused, she kept saying we were going to a birthday party and wedding!

Her frothy mustache from my cappuccino! (Such a sweet smile)

Look at those eyes!

"Moral Support"

Today, Lili had her 6 month check up, although she's actually 7 months :). And let me tell you, she is a growing girl! She is in the 90th percentile for weight (about 20lbs) and 97th percentile for height! I've got a big girl! Well, big sister wanted to come along today to help out with Lili, the doctor's office was running behind, so we were there about an hour before seeing the dr. Well, when immunization time came, I had TWO crying little girls! So much for the moral support! :) Just kidding! Emma was just feeling Lili's pain. She loves her soooo much!

Nothing beats good ol' North Alabama red clay!
Happy as can be!

Expanding her artistic palette!
