More Great Wedding Pics

Emma did so well while I fixed her hair. I couldn't believe she let me curl it! I was so nervous using the curling iron, but she was so patient, still as a statue!

She was so meticulous (just like her mom)! She dropped one petal at a time. At the end of the aisle, as she dropped her last petal she finished with a resounding YAY! It was so cute!

Flower Girls Continued!

Well, the girls made their second debut as flower girls this past weekend at their Aunt Christie's wedding! Here are a few pics! There were so many great ones to choose from. When your child looks this precious, every moment is a photo op!

Getting our little princess ready! I was so thrilled that Emma let me curl her hair!

Special K and OJ?

Maybe it's a pregnancy thing... I don't know.... but the other morning I poured orange juice in my cereal. Man, I hated throwing that bowl of cereal away! Cereal's way too expensive to waste! But I don't think I could stomach that crazy combo!

Emma's Going to Be a Big Sister!

Yes! We are PREGNANT!! And we couldn't be more excited about it! Emma's going to be a great big sister! She's already asking when the doctor's going to "get that baby out of there"! She got to go with us to see the ultrasound yesterday and did such a great job. She kept asking " is it a girl baby or a boy baby, I like girl babies". Doc said the baby looks healthy and the heartbeat sounded normal. We're about 8 weeks making the due date Feb. 22nd. So, it's cutting it close. Emma's bday is March 3rd!

Please keep us in your prayers! We know this baby is in God's hands and we are trusting him to take care of it's precious little life and to recieve all the glory for it!

(The upper left is the baby's head and then down from there is his/her tummy. You can also see the umbilical cord that connects the baby. Just in case you were wonderring)

Emma's First Catch!

Well, we're back from a great visit with Nanny and Pawpaw! And we did lots of fun things. One of the most fun though, was taking Emma on her first fishing trip! PawPaw bought her a little rod'n'reel and she practiced and practiced. By the time this day arrived, she was ready! And we all had an absolute blast! It was so much fun watching her do this all on her own. She's growing up so fast and is at such a fun age. We've been able to enjoy so many different things so far this summer! After leaving the bait and tackle shop where we bought some yummy crickets, we headed off to the pond at PawPaw's hunting club. (No, Emma did not drive the truck the entire way, just on the bumpy back roads to the pond!)
Emma got an up close and personal look at those crickets! She didn't get up enough courage to stick her hand inside the bucket though! I can't blame her, yuck!

Now for the waiting part! Pawpaw and Emma had been practicing for this day. She was already a pro at throwing out the bait!

Baiting some more!

Ta Dah! Emma's first catch! A little brim! She was soooo excited! Just look at her little face! What fun!

PawPaw showed her just the right way to hold the fish, so that it's fin would not cut her. She did such a good job and was so brave! A pro fishermen already!
