Fall Fest Night!

Getting ready to go to our church's Fall Festival!
Lili ~ the scarecrow, Maddie ~ the AU cheerleader, Emma ~ the cheetah

Emma was a scarecrow when she was Lili's age too. I had a great time making her outfit.

Lili and Mrs. Kathy, a couple of scarecrows!

Mike wore the hat most of the night, got a few interesting looks from people :)

Emma loves the cotton candy!

More fall fun!

I was so excited to get these pictures today from Michael's aunt! She captured some really great moments at our Fall Family Day!

This reminds me of when I was a kid! One of my favorite things to do was to climb the magnolia trees in both of my grandmothers' yards.

A pic of me taking a pic of the girls :)

Here we go!

Lili had so much fun on the hayride!

As you can tell......

Straw was everywhere (yes, I do mean everywhere ;) )

Fall Day with Family!

Yesteday, we enjoyed a fun day with family! The kids all got to enjoy a hay ride, games, and delicous food. And the swing was also a big hit!

The girls played until they were absolutely exhausted!

Boy, do I know these looks too well!

Lili took a few swings at the pinata!

A Fun Day!

Today we went to Joe Davis Stadium, home of the Huntsville Stars, to take part in the Buddy Walk! The girls enjoyed playing games and winning prizes, a puppet show and playing with their friends.

Lili did a great job sitting still to get her face painted but couldn't resist touching it afterwards :)

My growing girls

We took the girls to the Botanical Gardens this weekend to see the Scarecrow Trail. Haven't had the chance to get any good pics of them lately so I was so happy with how these turned out. Look how my girls are growing!

We love Fall and yummy smores!

Look what I found!

I have been doing a little packing around here the last week or so. We are going to be moving in with Mimi and Popi (Mike's parents) for the next few months until the renovation is finished. We are so excited about this move and feel so blessed to have a family that's so gracious and giving.
We are looking forward to making alot of special memories these next few months, getting in alot of quality time with the grandparents (plus I'm gonna see if I can milk a few extra skills out of it like learning to knit and sew from Mimi, I'm pretty darn excited about that!) and Mike and I will be able to work on the reno. more together which is a huge blessing.
This has been such a testimony to God's provision for our family and we are so thankful for the countless ways He has shown His faithfulness.

This morning during packing, the girls decided to make forts out of our boxes. It kept 'em pretty occupied which was nice for mom b/c I got alot of packing done :)

Chillin' in their forts.

Decorating their forts. Emms' has become quite the little artist!

A Labor-ous Day

Saturday was full of painting! Glad to finally get a bit of color on our white walls. We started in the girls' rooms.

We chose to paint Lili's ceiling a light green, her walls will be painted white wainscoting for contrast.

Emma chose lavendar for her new room. Never thought I'd have a purple room, but I was really satisfied with how it turned out. It's not a very bright lavendar, its pretty subdued.

This is going to be my future guest room headboard! Can't wait to get started on this!
